Welcome to the St Hilda’s Alumni Community

For 135 years, St Hilda’s has been shaped by the pupils, families, teachers and staff who have shared in its story. Our school’s history is woven together through generations of friendships, achievements, traditions and memories. The Alumni community has been created to celebrate that legacy, to strengthen the links between the past and the present, and to give former members of our school family a place to reconnect.

Whether you left last year or many decades ago, and whether you were a pupil, a parent, a teacher or simply someone who played a role in school life, we are delighted to welcome you back.

Stay Connected to St Hilda’s

The Alumni community brings together Old Girls, families and staff from across the years, helping you stay connected with the school and with each other. Through this dedicated space, you can keep up to date with school news, enjoy regular updates, and discover what’s happening within the wider St Hilda’s community. The site also offers a growing archive of photographs and galleries, celebrating everything from annual school pictures to significant milestones and memorable events.

We hope that this becomes a place where you can revisit old memories, reconnect with familiar faces, and feel part of the evolving story of St Hilda’s.

We know that the family community of St Hilda’s has always been one of it’s greatest strengths.  We warmly invite you to become a member of our Alumni group and to rekindle that sense of belonging!

We were thrilled to host our very first Friday Night Lights, a full-length netball match under the floodlights between our U11 team and an Old Girls VII. The atmosphere both on and off court was electric, making it a truly memorable evening for players and spectators alike.

The Old Girls - last year's U11 national finalists - set an amazing pace and standard for the match. Whilst our current girls were a little over-awed at first, they found their rhythm as the match progressed and managed to keep within two goals in the second half, showing brilliant teamwork, skill and determination in both attack and defence.

Before the main event, our U9 and U10 teams warmed up the crowd with a lively game of their own, giving us a glimpse of the talent coming through the school.

What a night of sport, sparkle and St Hilda's spirit — we can’t wait for the next one!

Today, on World Book Day, the corridors and classrooms of St Hilda's filled with characters who had stepped straight from the pages of beloved books — and even the teachers joined in the tale!

Spotted wandering the school were Mildred Hubble, Hermione Granger, Winnie-the-Pooh, Dorothy, Little Red Riding Hood, Mary Lennox, Matilda Wormwood, Mirabelle, Isadora Moon and many, many more in between.

For one magical day, the stories our girls love so much seemed to leap off the page and into school life. It has been a joyful celebration of imagination, creativity and the wonderful worlds found within books.

Once upon a time, on the eve of World Book Day, the girls of St Hilda’s were caught getting lost in stories.

From muddy puddles to snowy mountains, in quiet corners, open spaces and even the most unlikely of positions, stories were discovered and pages were turned in the most unexpected places, far beyond the school gates.

Because a good book can take you anywhere — and reading is always worth getting caught for.

What an incredible moment for our Form VI girls. Their talent, determination and serious hard work has been rewarded with outstanding senior school success.

Every girl who sat an entrance exam to an independent senior school has been offered a place — with 13 scholarships awarded to our most talented academics, athletes and actresses.

This special group of girls have supported one another, risen to every challenge and shown just how much can be achieved with ambition, courage and belief. We couldn't be prouder of their achievements and can't wait to see them flourish when they take their next steps in September.

(Although, for now, they are still St Hilda’s girls, and we are so grateful for this time to celebrate them together. ❤️💙🤍)
